Floor Covering Removal
Floor scrapers strip old floor coverings and adhesives down to the substrate. The catalog class is the walk-behind machine that replaces hand scraping on tile, carpet, and glued-down floors.
Fonctionnement
A hardened blade, set at a shallow attack angle, wedges beneath the covering while machine weight and drive force it forward; the covering peels or fractures ahead of the cut. Blade width, shape, and angle change per material — wide and shallow for carpet, narrow and steep for brittle tile and stubborn adhesives.

- Walk-Behind Floor Scraper
- Machine that strips tile, carpet, and adhesives from floors with a driven blade.
Comment choisir
Machine class follows floor area and material tenacity: manual and light walk-behind machines strip carpet and VCT in rooms and corridors, while heavier self-propelled units break out ceramic and dense adhesive economically at scale. Blade selection matters as much as machine size, and thin-set or leveling compound left behind is a follow-on grinding task, not a scraping one.
