Floor and surface equipment prepares, refinishes, and strips the horizontal surfaces buildings live on. The category runs from concrete grinders and shot blasters through wood floor sanders and walk-behind scrapers.
How it works
All three families work the floor mechanically: diamonds and steel shot abrade concrete to profile or polish, staged abrasives cut wood floors flat and smooth, and driven blades shear coverings off their adhesive. Dust management — HEPA extraction on concrete, collection on wood — runs through the whole category.

How to choose
The substrate and the goal sort the equipment: concrete headed for coatings or polish takes grinders and blasters matched to the specified profile; wood floors take the drum-then-orbital sanding sequence; and old coverings come off with a scraper before either. Machine width scales to floor area throughout.
