Cooling Towers
Cooling towers reject process and building heat to the atmosphere through evaporation. The catalog covers portable and modular towers with supporting fill media.
How it works
Warm water sprays over fill media that spreads it into thin films while a fan draws air through; evaporation carries heat away and the cooled water returns to the loop. Performance is stated as tons at design wet-bulb temperature, and water treatment controls scale, corrosion, and biological growth including Legionella risk.
Types & variants
- Cooling Tower
- Open- or closed-loop tower that rejects process heat by evaporating water.
- PVC Structured Tower Packing Media
- Fill media that increases heat-transfer surface inside cooling towers.
How to choose
Tower capacity is matched to the connected chiller or process load at the local design wet-bulb, with pump flow and head confirming the loop works as a system. Placement needs airflow clearance and drift consideration; a water-treatment plan is part of the installation, not an afterthought.
