Dehumidifiers
Dehumidifiers remove moisture from air for structural drying and climate control. Desiccant units are the larger class in the catalog, with low-grain refrigerant (LGR) machines as the restoration standard.
How it works
An LGR unit chills incoming air below dew point twice over, condensing moisture that drains away, and performs best warm and wet. A desiccant wheel adsorbs vapor directly and regenerates with heated air ducted outside — effective at low temperatures and low humidity where refrigerant units stall. Removal is measured in pints per day at rated conditions.

How to choose
Conditions pick the technology: warm, saturated environments early in a drying job favor LGR; cold spaces, dense materials, and deep drying favor desiccant. Grain depression targets, chamber volume, and the IICRC S500 drying-standard math determine how many units and how much airflow a job needs.
